Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 2 tsp milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon cocoa(optional for chocolate cookies only)
How To Make cut out cookies

Step 1Cream margarine and sugar, beat in egg. Add baking soda/milk, vanilla, salt and flour. Chill. To speed it up, place dough in freezer for 15 minutes

Step 2Roll dough on unfloured board, use no flour on rolling pin to 1/8" thickness Dip cutter in flour before cutting out cookies

Step 3Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes Cool. Frost and decorate
