My Mom's recipe-she got it from the back of a package of chocolate chips (Nestle) years ago. I have also used:m&m's and toffee instead of the chocolate chips.

butter, room temperature

sugar
3/4 c

brown sugar, lightly packed

vanilla
1 tsp

salt
1 tsp

baking soda
2 1/4 c

flour
1 pkg

semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c

nuts, chopped(optional)

How To Make chocolate chip cookies

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars together until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, salt and soda, continue beating. Add flour and mix in. Add chocolate chips and nuts at this time. Mix in.

Using a cookie scoop or a teaspoon, put on a cookie sheet that has a piece of parchment paper on. Space the cookies about 2" apart. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes
