INGREDIENTS

2 cups milk, scalded and cooled to 125 degrees (see note below)

2 & 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry or rapid rise yeast
•
1/4 C light brown sugar, lightly packed
•
2 tsp table salt
•
4 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
•
1/2 C instant mashed potato flakes
•
4 cups all purpose flour, divided in half.
•
NOTE: I replace the scalded milk with 1/2 cup of WHOLE milk powder & 2 cups very warm water (120 degrees). [I like the the Nestle Nido Fortificado, found in the Hispanic food section at WalMart.]. Just mix the milk powder with the flour, yeast & pota
