You can slice the pork into 2 inch by 1/8 inch pieces and serve hot, or cold as part of a Chinese cold plate. Prep time does not include marinating time...."

INGREDIENTS
3 lbs pork (use shoulder, boneless pork roast or tenderloin)
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon five-spice powder
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce or 3 tablespoons Chinese barbecue sauce
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 garlic cloves, finely minced
