INGREDIENTS
This loaf tastes great but takes an hour to bake, so plan ahead. If you won’t eat the whole loaf within a few days, cut it in two and freeze half for another time.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Yield: 1 loaf (12 slices)
1/4 cup soft margarine
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup white flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 small bananas, mashed
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
