1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
•
1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream or full-fat canned coconut milk
•
4 tablespoons (60g) unsalted butter, cut into chunks
•
1 tablespoon rum
•
Few drops of vanilla extract
•
Pinch of sea salt
