INGREDIENTS

Dutch Oven or large aluminum pan to put on the grill
•
Smithfield Applewood Smoked Bacon Marinated Fresh Pork Loin Filet, sliced into 1/2” thick pieces for grilling

1/2 lb bacon, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
•
2 15 oz cans navy beans, drained and rinsed
•
1 15 oz can kidney beans
•
1 medium sweet onion, sliced into rings for grilling
•
4 medium sized (I used Campari) tomatoes, sliced in half
•
2 carrots, chopped
•
2 celery sticks, chopped
•
2 cloves garlic, chopped
•
1 large bunch thyme
•
1-2 Guinness Beers or another Porter Style Beer
•
2 tbsp brown sugar
•
French Bread
•
Compound Butter (herbed butter)
