1 hot Italian sausage link, (casing removed)

3 garlic cloves, (minced)

¼ cup fresh parsley, (chopped)
•
3 fresh basil leaves, chopped (note 1)

½ cup breadcrumbs
•
½ cup water
•
1 cup barbecue sauce
•
3 tbsp bourbon
•
1 tbsp honey
•
