This was my Mom's recipe and everyone has always enjoyed it.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, unsalted
- 1 1/2 cups sugar, granulated
- 2 - eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- 3 - bananas, ripe
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour, all purpose
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
How To Make banana bread

Step 1Place butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix together

Step 2Add the vinegar to the 1/4 measuring cup then add the milk until it equals 1/4 cup(you have just made sour milk) Add the milk to the butter and sugar. Add eggs and peeled bananas until all blended

Step 3Add soda, baking powder, vanilla, add flour slowly while mixing, add nuts if desired

Step 4Put into a large greased and floured loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350 for about 1 hour 15 minutes.
