My Mom is the one who showed me how to make this whipped cream. I usually make this around the holidays, if I have time, to put on the desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 package knox gelatine
  • 1/4 cup water

How To Make stabilized whip cream

  • Step 1
Mix the Knox gelatine and water together in small bowl. Heat in microwave, stir, microwave another minute, stir, cool completely.
  • Step 2
In a mixer bowl, beat the whipping cream until it starts to hold its shape( do not over beat-you will make butter). Add the sugar and vanilla and cooled gelatine. Beat for about a minute. Refrigerate until ready to use. This whipped cream will last a few days and tastes so much better than cool whip. I usually make this around the holidays for the pies, etc.
