Ingredients
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3 large egg whites
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make meringue

Step 1In a small container, mix the water the cornstarch together. Cook in a microwave for 30-45 seconds and stir until all blended together. Cool.

Step 2In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs whites until peaks start to form. Add the cooled cornstarch mixture, sugar, cream of tartar and vanilla. Beat for about 5 minutes. Spread on your pie and bring to the edge of your crust, or whatever you are needing meringue for. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.
