chocolate fudge sheet cake
I have had this recipe since we lived in New Mexico and it is so good. This is great to take to a pot luck so you do not have it around to eat at home, but can enjoy it there.

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup water, cold
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- FROSTING
- 5 tablespoons milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
How To Make chocolate fudge sheet cake

Step 1Mix together the flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl, set aside.

Step 2In a small pan, bring to boil the water, butter and cocoa. Pour over the flour mixture and stir well with spoon. Add eggs and stir. Add buttermilk, soda and vanilla, stir until it is mixed well. Pour in a well greased 1" deep sheet pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

Step 3Frosting: Put the milk, butter and cocoa in a pan and bring to a boil. Take off heat and add the vanilla, pecans, and powdered sugar, stir well. Pour over warm cake.
