flavored popcorn balls
This was a favorite of yours when you were little and I believe Brenda still craves them! I sometimes made them at Halloween and at Christmas. Let your imagination go wild and decorate them! They are also a little softer that a normal popcorn balls, so you will not break your teeth trying to eat them!

Ingredients
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 small package jello, any kind
- 15 cups popped popcorn
How To Make flavored popcorn balls
-
Step 1Pop the popcorn and put it into a large bowl.
-
Step 2Choose a flavor of Jello for the color you want the popcorn balls to be.
-
Step 3Combine the syrup and sugar in a small sauce pan-bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add the dry jello, stir to dissolve. Pour the syrup over the popcorn and mix until the popcorn is covered. Form into balls, about the size of a baseball, and place on a lined cookie sheet. This is a sticky mess so I usually coat my hands with butter. Let cool and enjoy. Store in an air tight container or wrap separately in plastic wrap.
