Asparagus Pie

"A light dinner never looked so good...."

INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
8 ounces Gruyere cheese, shredded
2 cups fresh chopped asparagus, cut in 1/2 inch pieces and divided
2 green onions, minced
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup half-and-half
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
