I use a Gala apple; 1 pie crust, homemade or store bought; 1/2 c butter, cold and cut into cubes; 1/2 c light brown sugar; 1/4 c granulated sugar; 1 tsp cinnamon; pinch of salt; 1 c all purpose flour
