- 1 C. rye flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 C. Graham flour*
- (* consist of 2/3 C. white flour, 1/3 C. wheat bran, and 1 1/2 tsp. wheat germ, mixed)
- 3/4 C. molasses
- 2 C. buttermilk

Step 1Sift corn meal, rye flour, soda and milk together, and mix well with graham flour. Add combined molasses and buttermilk, mix well. Fill greased loaf pans 2/3 full, cover well and steam 3 hours. Remove covers and dry tops in oven at 375 degrees.
