Ingredients
- 1 large zucchini, cut into 16 pieces
- 1 large free-run eggs
- 4-5 dashes hot sauce, such as cholula®
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grana padano, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil, for frying
How To Make zucchini sticks

Step 1In a shallow bowl, add egg and hot sauce; beat. In a large re-sealable plastic bag, combine ground panko, cheese, smoked paprika, and garlic salt. Close the bag and give a good shake until the ingredients are well blended.

Step 2Dip zucchini sticks in egg mixture and then transfer them to the panko mixture; close the bag and shake until well coated. Transfer on a plate.

Step 3In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil. When hot but not smoking and has reached 350ºF, fry zucchini sticks in batches until golden brown, about 1 to 1 ½ minutes per side. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Serve with ranch dressing.
