frozen puff pastry
flour for rolling
olive oil for brushing
1/2 c
grated white cheddar cheese
italian plum tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch slices
salt and ground pepper
2 Tbsp
fresh thyme leaves, chopped fine
1/2 c
freshly grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Tomato Tart


  • 1Preheat oven to 400.
  • 2Remove puff pastry from freezer and let thaw for 20 minutes.
  • 3Roll out pastry, using flour to prevent sticking to board, to fit tart pan. Lay in tart pan and brush lightly with olive oil.
  • 4Top pastry with cheddar cheese, tomato slices and salt and pepper. Sprinkle thyme leaves and Parmesan cheese over top. Bake 15-20 minutes or until done. Cool before slicing and serving.
