Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry
  • - flour for rolling
  • - olive oil for brushing
  • 1/2 cup grated white cheddar cheese
  • 4-5 - italian plum tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch slices
  • - salt and ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

How To Make tomato tart

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400.
  • Step 2
    Remove puff pastry from freezer and let thaw for 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Roll out pastry, using flour to prevent sticking to board, to fit tart pan. Lay in tart pan and brush lightly with olive oil.
  • Step 4
    Top pastry with cheddar cheese, tomato slices and salt and pepper. Sprinkle thyme leaves and Parmesan cheese over top. Bake 15-20 minutes or until done. Cool before slicing and serving.
