These 6 recipes are from my Grand Mothers Great Grand Dad. He made these recipes as a 6 course meal for home or a big get together. His legacy lives on way to go Jasper ( BIG DAD) Adams. I have been told that I get my cooking talent from him.

    green chilies chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    tomatoes diced
  • 1 can(s)
    rotel medium or hot
  • 2 small
    cans olives chopped
  • 6
    green onions chopped ( tops also )

  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper or to taste
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 c
    homemade picante sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    black eyeds peas your choice of size

How to Make TEXAS CAVIAR recipe # 1


  1. TEXAS CAVIAR: Combine all above ingredients.
  2. DRESSING: Blend all together, chill well.
  3. Let set overnight for better taste. Serve with tortilla chips.
