These 6 recipes are from my Grand Mothers Great Grand Dad. He made these recipes as a 6 course meal for home or a big get together. His legacy lives on way to go Jasper ( BIG DAD) Adams. I have been told that I get my cooking talent from him.

Ingredients
- 2 cans green chilies chopped
- 2 cans tomatoes diced
- 1 can rotel medium or hot
- 2 small cans olives chopped
- 6 - green onions chopped ( tops also )
- DRESSING:
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper or to taste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 cup homemade picante sauce
- 1 can black eyeds peas your choice of size

Step 1TEXAS CAVIAR: Combine all above ingredients.

Step 2DRESSING: Blend all together, chill well.

Step 3Let set overnight for better taste. Serve with tortilla chips.
