  • **roma tomatoes
  • **sweet & hot pickled jalapenos
  • **red onion
  • **fresh chopped cilantro
  • **crumbled crisp bacon, reduce sodium
  • **chopped pecans
  • **queso fresco cheese

How To Make tex mex fresh tomato salad

    I chopped my tomatoes into large bite size pieces, then diced some red onion and placed both in a bowl with some pickled jalapeno slices and a little juice. I use Uncle Gary's Candied Jalapenos, they are sweet and hot and delicious.

    After about 20 min I drained the juice and added crumbled bacon, chopped pecans, chopped cilantro and queso fresco cheese.
