jar kosher pickles
1 c
jalapenos in jar sliced
1/2 box
tempura mix
1 c
vegetable oil
1/2 c
remoulade sauce (recipe to follow)
1 tsp

How to Make Tempura Pickles & Jalapeños with Remoulade Sauce


  • 1mix tempura with water till thin mixture
  • 2towel dry, pickles and jalapeños
  • 3drop into tempura mixture let sit for a few minutes
  • 4heat the vegetable oil to med high, drop in until golden brown a few minutes on each side, drain and sprinkle with the paprika, serve hot
  • 5my remoulade= 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup ketchup, 6 splashes of tabasco sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper....mix well
