sweet pickle antipasto peppers
My Italian Grandmother made this as far back as I can remember. She served it as an appetizer course with fresh Italian cold cuts, cheeses and crispy Italian bread.

Ingredients
- - 4 or 5 bell peppers
- 1 cup olives, pitted
- 1 jar sweet pickles
- 3\4 cups olive oil
- 1 tablespoon oregano, dried
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make sweet pickle antipasto peppers

Step 1Slice peppers in ha[f inch strips and boil until cooked

Step 2Drain and put in large bowl. Add in all ingredients except pickles

Step 3Mix well and add in one cup or more of sweet pickle juice. Mix well and add some sweet pickles if desired.

Step 4Cover and refrigerate...let mixture marinate for at least 5 days or longer. Use as an accompaniment to Prosciutto and other Italian cold cuts. Can also be used in sandwiches with crusty Italian rolls
