If I don't take these to family gatherings,one of my nephews always ask "why didn't you make some of those stuffed mushrooms?"

Ingredients

  • 24-30 medium whole mushrooms
  • 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup pepperidge farms herb seasoned stuffing mix

How To Make stuffed mushrooms

  • Step 1
    Remove stems. Chop 1 cup and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Melt 2 Tbsp. margareine and brush mushrooms caps with it. Place mushrooms top side down in a shallow baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Heat remaining margarine. Add stems, onion and garlic powder. Cook until tender.
  • Step 4
    Stir in cheeses and parsley. Add stuffing mix and mix lightly.
  • Step 5
    Spoon about 1 Tbsp. of mix (depending on the size of the mushrooms) into each mushroom cap.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Enjoy!!!
  • Step 7
    NOTE: YOU CAN USE MINCED FRESH GARLIC IF YOU WANT.
