If I don't take these to family gatherings,one of my nephews always ask "why didn't you make some of those stuffed mushrooms?"

makes 24-30

Ingredients

  • 24-30 medium
    whole mushrooms
  • 6 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 3 Tbsp
    parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 c
    pepperidge farms herb seasoned stuffing mix

How to Make Stuffed Mushrooms

Step-by-Step

  1. Remove stems. Chop 1 cup and set aside.
  2. Melt 2 Tbsp. margareine and brush mushrooms caps with it. Place mushrooms top side down in a shallow baking pan.
  3. Heat remaining margarine. Add stems, onion and garlic powder. Cook until tender.
  4. Stir in cheeses and parsley. Add stuffing mix and mix lightly.
  5. Spoon about 1 Tbsp. of mix (depending on the size of the mushrooms) into each mushroom cap.
  6. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Enjoy!!!
  7. NOTE: YOU CAN USE MINCED FRESH GARLIC IF YOU WANT.
