Ingredients For stuffed banana peppers

6small banana peppers
-
olive oil
-
4 ozlight cream cheese

1/4 tspcrushed garlic

1/8 tspblack pepper
-
salt to taste

1 tspsriracha sauce
-
2 Tbspchopped chives
-
2serrano peppers, finely sliced

1/4 cchopped walnuts
-
1/4 cshredded cheese
How To Make stuffed banana peppers

1Preheat toaster oven to 350°. Cut peppers length-wise and remove seeds, trying to retain a short stem. Toss with a little olive oil and place open side up on a sprayed pan.

2Roast in toaster oven for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven, pat inside of peppers dry, and cool.

3In the meantime, mix the remainder of the ingredients together in the order listed. Use a fork or mixer to mix.

4Raise heat in toaster oven to 375°. Fill peppers with cheese mix. Bake for about 8 minutes, watching for cheese to start to brown.

5Note: If using a regular oven, bake times will probably be longer.
