Ingredients

  • 6 - small banana peppers
  • - olive oil
  • 4 ounces light cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • - salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 2 - serrano peppers, finely sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese

How To Make stuffed banana peppers

  • Step 1
Preheat toaster oven to 350°. Cut peppers length-wise and remove seeds, trying to retain a short stem. Toss with a little olive oil and place open side up on a sprayed pan.
  • Step 2
Roast in toaster oven for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven, pat inside of peppers dry, and cool.
  • Step 3
In the meantime, mix the remainder of the ingredients together in the order listed. Use a fork or mixer to mix.
  • Step 4
Raise heat in toaster oven to 375°. Fill peppers with cheese mix. Bake for about 8 minutes, watching for cheese to start to brown.
  • Step 5
Note: If using a regular oven, bake times will probably be longer.
