Ingredients
- 6 - small banana peppers
- - olive oil
- 4 ounces light cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- - salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- 2 - serrano peppers, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese
How To Make stuffed banana peppers
-
Step 1Preheat toaster oven to 350°. Cut peppers length-wise and remove seeds, trying to retain a short stem. Toss with a little olive oil and place open side up on a sprayed pan.
-
Step 2Roast in toaster oven for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven, pat inside of peppers dry, and cool.
-
Step 3In the meantime, mix the remainder of the ingredients together in the order listed. Use a fork or mixer to mix.
-
Step 4Raise heat in toaster oven to 375°. Fill peppers with cheese mix. Bake for about 8 minutes, watching for cheese to start to brown.
-
Step 5Note: If using a regular oven, bake times will probably be longer.
