Always a favorite at parties. The recipe came off the back of a Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix box. It is really pretty to serve in a hollowed out round loaf of bread. Even spinach-haters like this dip!

Ingredients
- 1 package frozen spinach, thawed and drained well
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1 cup hellman's mayonnaise
- 1 package knorr vegetable soup mix
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
How To Make spinach dip

Step 1Thaw spinach and drain well. Literally squeeze as much water out of the spinach as possible; until it is almost dry.

Step 2Mix all the ingredients together and chill overnight.

Step 3Serve with crackers or Frito scoops.

Step 4Variation: Instead of water chestnuts, peel and chop a green apple. Gives you the texture of the water chestnuts, but a tangy taste. Thanks, Rene, for this tip.
