1 pkgfrozen spinach, thawed and drained well
1 bunchgreen onions, chopped
16 ozsour cream
1 chellman's mayonnaise
1 pkgknorr vegetable soup mix
1 can(s)water chestnuts, drained and chopped
How to Make Spinach Dip
- Thaw spinach and drain well. Literally squeeze as much water out of the spinach as possible; until it is almost dry.
- Mix all the ingredients together and chill overnight.
- Serve with crackers or Frito scoops.
- Variation: Instead of water chestnuts, peel and chop a green apple. Gives you the texture of the water chestnuts, but a tangy taste. Thanks, Rene, for this tip.
