Feel free to use steamed fresh spinach if you'd like. Just make sure you get all the excess moisture out of the spinach before topping the bread, or it will be soggy!

Ingredients
- 10 ounces package frozen chopped spinach
- 2 tablespoons onion, grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 16 ounces loaf french bread
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
How To Make spinach bread

Step 1Cook the spinach according to the package directions. Drain. Press between layers of paper towels to remove excess moisture. Set aside.

Step 2Saute the onion and garlic in butter in a small skillet over medium heat until tender. Combine the onion mixture, spinach, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. Stir well.

Step 3Slice bread in half horizontally. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Step 4Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until the cheeses melt.
