Ingredients
- 40 - fresh mushrooms, stems removed
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 10 ounces bulk sage flavored sausage
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- 1 clove fresh garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 ounces fresh parmesan cheese, shredded
How To Make sausage stuffed mushrooms

Step 1Place cleaned mushrooms in a shallow baking dish; brush mushrooms with melted butter.

Step 2Brown sausage, onions and garlic in a skillet; drain.

Step 3Mix in pepper, parsley, Parmesan cheese and cream cheese to sausage mixture. Heat to blend all ingredients and melt cheeses.

Step 4Stuff mushrooms with filling and bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees.

Step 5These can be made the day before and baked just before serving.
