fresh mushrooms, stems removed
1/3 c
butter, melted
10 oz
bulk sage flavored sausage
1 Tbsp
chopped green onions
1 clove
fresh garlic
1/4 tsp
1 Tbsp
fresh parsley
8 oz
cream cheese
2 oz
fresh parmesan cheese, shredded

How to Make Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms


  • 1Place cleaned mushrooms in a shallow baking dish; brush mushrooms with melted butter.
  • 2Brown sausage, onions and garlic in a skillet; drain.
  • 3Mix in pepper, parsley, Parmesan cheese and cream cheese to sausage mixture. Heat to blend all ingredients and melt cheeses.
  • 4Stuff mushrooms with filling and bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
  • 5These can be made the day before and baked just before serving.
