- 4 - white potatoes
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium onion
- - vegetable oil
- - apple sauce
How To Make potato latkes (pancakes)

Step 1peel potatoes

Step 2Grate potatoes into large mixing bowl

Step 3Peel and Grate onion

Step 4Mix together potatoes, onion, salt, baking soda and flour

Step 5Heat oil and place 1 rounded tablespoon of mixture into it & press down to form pancake

Step 6Fry until crisp around edges then turn over and fry other side

Step 7Serve hot with apple sauce for dipping
