My husband and I love mushrooms and this is one dish we are not "really ", willing to share with each other.

3 Tbsp
extra- virgin olive oil
3 clove
garlic, peeled and crushed
2 tsp
italian seasoning
1 1/2 lb
fresh porcini mushroom, lightly brushed to remove any dirt
ripe plum tomatoes, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
1/2 c
dry white wine
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp
chopped fresh mint.
1 Tbsp
chopped fresh italian parsley

How to Make Padellata di Porcini/Braised Porcini Mushrooms


  • 1Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and porcini and cook until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the tomatoes and italian seasoning and cook for another 2 minutes. Deglase with the wine, lightly season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes more. sprinkle with the herbs, toss and serve.
