Ingredients
- 3 large yellow onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 package (6 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 package (6 oz.) swiss cheese, grated
- 1 package burrito-size tortillas
How To Make onion roll appetizers
-
Step 1Place chopped onions in a large skillet with the butter and cook over medium heat until onions are tender, about 20 minutes. If onions start to get too brown, reduce heat.
-
Step 2Sir in the cream cheese and the grated Swiss. Keep stirring until cheeses are melted.
-
Step 3Spread the mixture on tortillas and roll them up. Refrigerate overnight.
-
Step 4The next day, place tortillas on a greased baking sheet and cut into 1-inch pieces. Bake, standing upright, in a preheated 375-degree oven for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
