I received this recipe many years ago from a "friend of a friend." I know there are other versions of this recipe already on JAP, but I still wanted to share my recipe with you. It is always well received and requested often. Please enjoy with tortilla chips, Fritos corn chips, crackers, or a spoon....it is that good! :)

Ingredients For jalapeno popper dip - my way

2 pkg(8 oz. each) cream cheese - softened

1 cmayonnaise

1 can(4 oz.) chopped green chilies

2-3 ozjarred jalapeno slices, chopped (or more, to taste)

1 ccheddar cheese, shredded, or other cheese you may have on hand (parmesan cheese works well also)
- NOTE: YOU MAY MICROWAVE DIP ON HIGH FOR 3-5 MINUTES OR UNTIL HOT AND MELTED (IF YOU ARE IN A RUSH)
How To Make jalapeno popper dip - my way

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Stir together cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl.

2Stir in green chilies, and jalapeno peppers. Mix well.

3Pour mixture into a shallow baking dish or pie pan, and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

4Bake in oven for about 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Enjoy!! :)
