Oh, so yum. I got this idea from a friend's stuffed jalapeno dish. This is just as good, I think. I used it as a cheese spread on a toasted English muffin the first time, and that's my favorite. Crackers, chips, and other breads are great as well. Use it as a stuffing for large noodles; add a marinara sauce and bake. Notice I omitted the bacon. You can add it, but I'd put it on top so it doesn't get soggy.

Ingredients

  • 1 - fresh jalapeno, diced small
  • 4 - maple breakfast sausage links
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

How To Make jalapeno cream cheese and maple sausage dip

  • Saute sausage and jalapeno until cooked.
    Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove sausage from casing. Saute sausage and jalapeno until cooked. Drain.
  • Into an oven-safe dish, add sausage and jalapeno mixture, cream cheese, and 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella.

  • Mix the ingredients.

    Bake lightly covered for 30 minutes or until hot throughout. You can uncover and broil for the last few minutes if desired.

    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
