  • 3 medium
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    red chilly sauce
  • 1/3 tsp
    dark soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    ginger chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion chopped
  • 1/3 tsp
    white pepper powder
  • 1/3 Tbsp
  • 1/3 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    green scallions
  • 100 g
    cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    white sesame seeds
  • 1/3 c
    corn flour

How to Make Honey chilli potato recipe


  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into finger size pieces. Keep the fingers little thicker.
  2. Apply salt and corn flour to coat them evenly from all sides. Keep to set for two minutes.
  3. After that fry them till crisp golden. Remove on a absorbent paper to absorb any excess oil.
  4. Heat 1/2 teaspoon oil and fry ginger, garlic and onion till light brown.
  5. Add red chilly sauce, dark soya sauce, tomato sauce.
  6. Pour little water and simmer the sauce for one minute.
  7. Add salt , white pepper powder and small pinch of sugar.
  8. Pour the honey into the sauce and mix nicely.
  9. Fry the potato fingers once again in high flame and then add into the sauce
  10. Mix them nicely so that the sauce coat them evenly.
  11. Sprinkle some chopped green scallions and white sesame seeds.
