You can bake the potato fingers and then stir fry them with the sauce. Potato wedges and french fries also make a nice honey chilli potato recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 medium potato
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon red chilly sauce
  • 1/3 teaspoon dark soya sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion chopped
  • 1/3 teaspoon white pepper powder
  • 1/3 tablespoon salt
  • 1/3 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons green scallions
  • 100 g cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup corn flour

How To Make honey chilli potato recipe

  • Step 1
    Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into finger size pieces. Keep the fingers little thicker.
  • Step 2
    Apply salt and corn flour to coat them evenly from all sides. Keep to set for two minutes.
  • Step 3
    After that fry them till crisp golden. Remove on a absorbent paper to absorb any excess oil.
  • Step 4
    Heat 1/2 teaspoon oil and fry ginger, garlic and onion till light brown.
  • Step 5
    Add red chilly sauce, dark soya sauce, tomato sauce.
  • Step 6
    Pour little water and simmer the sauce for one minute.
  • Step 7
    Add salt , white pepper powder and small pinch of sugar.
  • Step 8
    Pour the honey into the sauce and mix nicely.
  • Step 9
    Fry the potato fingers once again in high flame and then add into the sauce
  • Step 10
    Mix them nicely so that the sauce coat them evenly.
  • Step 11
    Sprinkle some chopped green scallions and white sesame seeds.
  • Step 12
