- 1 cup bisquick baking mix
- 1 cup fresh button mushrooms, leave whole or dice
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 1 tablespoon diced pimento
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 large egg, separated
- 1/4 cup dairy sour cream
How To Make golden mushroom fritters

Step 1Mix mushrooms, onion, pimento, salt and celery seed with Bisquick mix. In another bowl, mix egg yolk and sour cream add the mushroom mixture, stir until moist. Beat the egg white till stiff and fold into the mushroom mixture. Drop by teaspoonful into hot oil,375^-400^ in deep fryer for about 2 minutes or until delicately brown.
