This recipe is from Church Suppers. Garlic and butter combine to create a great stuffed mushroom.

2 dozen large mushrooms
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 shallots, minced
1/2 cup minced parsley
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper

How to Make Garlic Butter Mushrooms


  • 1Preheat oven to 400. Clean mushrooms, removing stems.
  • 2In blender or food processor, mix the butter, garlic, shallots, and parsley. Blend.
  • 3Add lemon juice, salt and pepper and blend briefly again. Put the mushrooms cap side up in a shallow baking dish. Fill each mushroom with a dollop of garlic butter mixture, about 1/2 to 1 tsp. each.
  • 4Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
