Ingredients
- DRY INGREDIENTS
- 1 jar pickled okra spears, regular or spicy
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- pinch cayenne pepper
- WET INGREDIENTS
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice
- 1 bottle vegetable oil
How To Make fried pickled okra

Step 1Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375 degrees.

Step 2Pull okra out of the jar and place on a paper towel-lined plate.

Step 3In one bowl, mix the egg, milk, and pickle juice. In a second bowl mix the dry ingredients

Step 4Dredge the okra in the flour mixture.

Step 5Next, dredge them in the wet ingredients.

Step 6Then dredge the okra back into the flour mixture.

Step 7Place the okra in the heated oil and fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
