Fried Pickle Chips

There used to be a restaurant in Willis Michigan called The Pickle Barrel that used to serve fried pickle chips just like this. They closed but luckily I can still enjoy these! They are absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  •   1 jar(s)
    whole claussen brand, dill pickles
  •  
    batter recipe or mix of your choice (i like drakes brand for this)
  •  
    salt to taste
  •  
    vegetable or canola oil for frying
  •  
    ranch dressing to dip

How To Make

    Slice Claussen pickles very, very thin.
  • 2
    Mix batter according to package directions
  • 3
    Heat oil to 365 degrees. Deep fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Salt to taste. Serve with Ranch dressing to dip.
