Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 - plum tomatoes chopped
  • 2 of 3 - med. garlic cloves mince
  • 1 - sprig of fresh basil chopped
  • - a drizzle of olive oil & vinegar for ea. bagette slice
  • - salt and pepper
  • - optional: a sprinkle of parmesan or mozzarelle cheese each
  • - bagette slices
  • - a pinch of italian seasoning each
  • - a handful of sliced green olives

  • Step 1
    Cut and toast fresh bagette slices, set aside.
  • Step 2
    Chop, mince, or slice, tomatoes,garlic,olives and basil then gentlely toss together.
  • Step 3
    put mixture on top, of bagette slices
  • Step 4
    then drizzle each with olive oil and vinegar
  • Step 5
    sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
  • Step 6
    add a pinch of italian seasoning to each
  • Step 7
    sprinkle with the cheese of your choice.
  • Step 8
    place under broiler for 30 to 60 seconds.Just long enough for the cheese to melt
