These appetizers are simple but delicious. You can top them with basil or parsley and use Mozzarella instead of parmesan. Makes alot or as little as you need.

  • 1
    loaf baguette-style french bread
  • 1 or 2
    roma or any kind of plum tomatoes
  • ·
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • ·
    salt & pepper
  • ·
    garlic powder
  • ·
    olive oil

How to Make Fresh Tomato Parmesan Appetizer

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut the bread into thin slices with a sharp serrated knife. On each slice, place one thin slice of tomato, grated parmesan, salt & pepper to taste, and a dash of garlic powder.
  2. Drizzle with small amount of olive oil over the tops. Broil until warm and the cheese is heated, so watch closely not to burn. Serve warm.
