yellow or white onion
bay leaf
1 tsp
thyme, dried
1 Tbsp
beef bullion cube
1/2 c
1 box
athens phyllo shells
salt & pepper
guyere cheese grated

How to Make French Onion Soup Bites


  • 1Preheat oven 350
  • 2Melt butter in large pan over medium heat.Add slices onions,bay leaf and thyme.Carmelize onion about 10 min.Dissolve boullion cube in 1/2 C.water and add to pan to deglaze.Remove bay leaf.Fill each cup with mixture and bake in oven for 10-12 min.Sprinkle each cup with grated cheese and broil just until melted.Or you can just put it back into the hot oven.
