I originally tasted this recipe at a family member's home at Christmas time. I loved it so much, I begged her for it. I've only tweaked it a little bit. I've made it for parties and potlucks, and it's always been popular.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 can artichoke hearts in water, drained
  • 2-3 cloves garlic

How To Make creamy parmesan artichoke dip

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, using a hand mixer, mix together the sour cream, cream cheese and grated parmesan until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Step 2
Cut up the artichoke hearts into bite size pieces and add to the bowl. Using either a garlic press or a fine grater, add the garlic to the bowl. Fold to combine.
  • Step 3
Put dip into a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees, until warm and bubbly, and slightly browned in spots, about 20 minutes or so.
  • Step 4
Serve warm or at room temperature with French bread or tortilla chips.
