~ creamy bacon, spinach, ranch - spread/dip ~

Another recipe I created for Thanksgiving. We love spinach, bacon and all the other goodies I added. It turned out so much better than I'd anticipated. This can be used as a spread with crackers or a dip with veggies. If you like spinach, I think you will be impressed with this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 10 ounces block of frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed our really good ( i place it in my hand and with the other hand, just keep squeezing until dry)
  • 1 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 ounces shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 2 - green onions, sliced in half and chopped - green tops too
  • 1/2 ounce ranch dressing mix - or half a package
  • 1/4 cup real bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup good mayonnaise
  • more - bacon bits for garnish
  • crackers - or veggies for serving

How To Make ~ creamy bacon, spinach, ranch - spread/dip ~

  • Step 1
    Place everything except for the spinach in a medium bowl and mix until thoroughly blended.
  • Step 2
    Fold in the spinach, mix thoroughly. Chill until ready to serve then top with remaining bacon.
  • Step 3
    Delicious as a spread or a dip.
