crab~stuffed mushrooms

I will be making these for Thanksgiving. We have had them once before and they were delish! I will post pictures as I make them. If you try this recipe I would love to hear how you liked it, if you did anything different and if you'd make it again.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crabmeat , i used canned
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • - paula deen's house seasoning, recipe follows
  • 10 - white mushroom caps
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs, i used panko
  • - nonstick cooking spray

How To Make crab~stuffed mushrooms

  • Step 1
    Recipe for Paula Deen's House Seasoning ~ 1 cup salt, 1/4 cup black pepper, 1/4 cup garlic powder Mix together and store in an air tight container for up to 6 months.
  • Step 2
    Preheat your oven to 375*
  • Step 3
    Combine the crab meat, cream cheese, parsley, green onions & Parmesan cheese. Season with House Seasoning, to taste. Mix all ingredients until combined well.
  • Step 4
    Prepare your mushrooms by using a damp paper towel and wiping off the dirt. Remove the stems.
  • Step 5
    Where you removed the stem is where your going to stuff the mushroom with mixture. Top mixture with bread crumbs.
  • Step 6
    Spray the tops with nonstick spray to help them brown. Lightly.
  • Step 7
    Transfer to the oven and bake for about 20 mins, or until the filling is hot and melted.
  • Step 8
    Serve warm. ENJOY!
