I made this last year for Christmas gifts at work and kept getting requests for more. They love the spicey sweet taste. Pour it over cream cheese and service with crackers or just use with butter on bagels.

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon sliced jalapenos drained, reserve juice
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar

How To Make cowboy candy

  • Step 1
Place drained jalapenos, sugar and vinegar in a large pan. Bring to a boil until it's crystalized. Once crystalized place in jelly jars and seal. For thicker Cowboy Candy you can decrease the candy, but it is much hotter.
  • Step 2
The left over juice can be used to make jalapeno jelly.
