cheezy spinach & artichoke dip

Over the years, I've played with different ways to make this recipe and I have finally perfected it. Make this at your next group gathering and I guarantee there wont be left overs. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 (14oz) can artichoke hearts - drained & chopped
  • 1 cup frozen spinach - thawed, drained & chopped
  • 1 (8oz) package cream cheese - softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese - grated
  • 1/4 cup romano cheese - grated
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese - shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic - minced (fresh or jar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning (i use mccormick original)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • pinch salt & pepper to taste

How To Make cheezy spinach & artichoke dip

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a small baking dish.
  • Step 2
    In a medium mixing bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, ONLY 1/4 cup of Mozzarella (save the rest for later), minced garlic, all-purpose seasoning, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Mix until it forms a creamy mixture.
  • Step 3
    Stir in chopped artichoke hearts and spinach until evenly mixed.
  • Step 4
    Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish. Top off with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 25 - 30 minutes, should be bubbly and lightly browned.
  • Step 6
    Remove from oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Enjoy with tortilla chips or dipping bread. (sour dough goes great!)
