champiñones salteados - sauteed mushrooms
This is a Spanish recipe and is often served as tapas, but can also be a side dish. Easy to make and pretty darned tasty! My mom used to add a splash of sherry.

Ingredients
- 1 pound mushrooms, stems trimmed
- 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, minced
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- salt & pepper
How To Make champiñones salteados - sauteed mushrooms

Step 1Wash the mushrooms and dry well. Cut in half.

Step 2In a large skillet, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms, garlic and parsley. Saute over medium high heat until the mushrooms are lightly browned.

Step 3Add the bread crumbs, then salt and pepper to taste.
