Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 - cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups light sour cream
- 2/3 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
How To Make carmelized onion dip

Step 1In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions, sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt, toss. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook til onions are golden, stirring. (15-20 mins) Remove from heat and cool. Stir in garlic.

Step 2In medium bowl, combine the cooled onion mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, remaining salt and pepper. Cover and chill one hour to blend flavors.
