- 6 medium white onions thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup pickling or course kosher salt
- 2 cups water
- 1 quart vinegar
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons celery seed
- 3 tablespoons mustard seed
- 3 teaspoons tumeric

Step 1ARRANGE SLICED CUCUMBERS AND ONIONS IN A BOWL.SPRINKLE EACH LAYER WITH SALT.COVER AND LET STAND 3 HOURS.

Step 2DRAIN OFF JUICE. COMBINE WATER, VINEGAR,SUGAR,CELERY AND MUSTARD SEED AND TUMERIC.

Step 3BOIL 3 MIN. UNTIL SUGAR IS DISSOLVED. ADD CUCUMBER MIXTURE AND BRING TO A BOIL.LET SIMMER FOR A FEW MINUTES.
